Hayley Orrantia is an American actress, singer and music producer. Most people know her by the title of Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. She believes that she is the best musician of all. Music is the first passion she claims; it's something she's dabbled into when she was just nine years old. The first time she began to study professional music when she was 12. At 13, she began making music. She recorded her debut album when she was 14. There hasn't been a turning to the past ever since. Orrantia is of Hispanic heritage, yet was born in the USA. Though she's never spoken Spanish in Mexico, she still feels extremely proud of her Hispanic culture. By learning Spanish and writing songs, she tries to preserve the tradition. A song she has created is called "Hasta Verte," a song she composed in Spanish. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia won the first season of the X Factor after she submitted an YouTube performance video. She received four "yes" votes of the judge in the live stage show in Seattle. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she and three female singers were grouped with three other singers for the last auditions in "Hollywood Week". The live shows were held during the week of 5th.
