Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul performer, writer and actress. She has been awarded several awards like a Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for the Academy Award. Andra isn't just the throwback R&B singer, her blues and gospel jazz roots perform in a manner that's effortless and beautiful. Cheers to the fall (2015) her auspicious debut was a hit in the Top Ten of the R&B/hip-hop and paved the way for some Grammy nominations as well as one Academy Award nomination with Stand Up for Something (2017) her performance on the soundtrack of Marshall receiving both awards. Growing up within San Diego and surrounding areas she started singing at worship and was enrolled in The School of Creative and Performing Arts. After graduating from the college, she began to gravitate towards the newer styles of R&B and pop but was eventually drawn back to the classical jazz and soul singers she heard when she was a child. A major break came when her performance was noticed by Kai Millard Morris who subsequently offered some of Day's songs to her husband Stevie Wonder. This, in turn, led to the Motown legend connected Day to music industry veteran Adrian Gurvitz. Alongside Gurvitz as well as Jeffrey Evans' Buskin label Day developed a YouTube audience and was eventually signed by major-label Warner Bros. n 2012 Day launched her debut single Forever Mine on YouTube. The song quickly popular and was played on radio by many DJs. Later, she became a member of Warner Bros. Records and started collaboration with Adrian Gourvitz, the producer to record the album that she released as her debut, Cheers to the autumn (2015). The album also featured the single Rise Up that became an iconic song of social justice campaigns around the world. Day was nominated to win two Grammy Awards, including Best R&B Album. The album was released in 2019 and she has her sophomore record The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album about the life of the legendary jazz singer. She also starred in The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film focused on Holiday. Andi Mattichak, a native of the United States is an American actor. She made her debut in television programs like Orange Is the New Black 666 Park Avenue and Blue Bloods. The film she made her debut on was in the role of Allyson as Allyson in the supernatural series Halloween. Andi Matichak is an American actress born the 03rd of May, 1994. She was born in Framingham Massachusetts, United States of America.
