Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in America for the past 40 years. She is most famous because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Her acting career began as a stage performer in the 1950s beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then, in 1956 she got her first big break on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. The album was released by her Too Late for Tina the in the same year. Louise began her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama film. It was a huge success and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. At the time, she joined the Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. The next notable role she played was Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up for in 1964. Louise Balfour was able to move between Broadway and Hollywood acting as a sombre character contrast to her image of a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she also became a well-known director of popular television shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family moved from Essex to Toronto, where she spent her childhood and teenage years. She settled in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
