Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is the author of many famous American cookbooks on cooking. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network, which has been running since 2002. Ina started her career as a writer in the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy reports. After initially finding the job interesting and stimulating however, she began to get bored with it. Barefoot Contessa was then acquired. After selling the store, she spent an entire 18 years transforming it into an extremely successful business. A number of different cookbooks and magazines were later published. Her Food Network TV show also made its debut, and was a huge hit. Additionally, she sells items that range from food items to storage containers and equipment. Ina has never been to any cooking school, nor had a job in a restaurant. She has a complete self-taught. Ina is well-known as an easy cook, and also for her entertaining cooking style. Her most popular recipes include Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
